Back In Time!!

Oh! How I wish I could turn back time…

Back in time, like a jovial new-born in mom’s arm,

Back in time, like a smiling infant in dad’s lap.

Oh! How I wish I could turn back time….

Back in time, crawling and being cuddled by mom,

Back in time, wriggling and playing in the Army campus with dad.

Oh! How I wish I could turn back time….

Back in time, walking by grasping mom’s hand,

Back in time, visiting holy places with dad.

Oh! How I wish I could turn back time….

Back in time, discovering concepts from mom,

Back in time, hiking and jogging with dad.

Life moved too fast….

Faster than I ever imagined….

I get up every morning, looking at the sun….

Praying for them….

Requesting the clouds to take care of them,

Pleading the birds to send my regards to them.

I go to bed, looking at the moon….

Thinking of them….

Asking the stars to shower good health on them,

Seeking the night to make every second peaceful for them.

I love them….

They might be far…. But in my thoughts always they are!!!

Thanking God for creating me as their child….

Whatever I am today, is because of them!!

I love them till the last breath of my life….
